In this role you’ll take a friendly and supportive role for patients during mealtimes. You’ll deliver meals to patients, interacting with them and their visitors, and making sure they have everything they need to make the most of their mealtime experience.
Activities in this role will usually include:
Delivering meals and drinks to patients
Taking the tea trolley round the ward to offer snacks to patients and visitors
Making sure patients have a clean space to eat their meal
Chatting to patients when delivering their meals
Clearing dishes away at the end of the meal
Reporting any issues or feedback to the nursing or kitchen team
**This role does not include assisting patients to eat their meals.**
